Many of you will recognize Dr. Henard, he has served as Executive Director of West Virginia Baptists, professor at Southern Seminary, and recently moved to FBC Athens, TN to serve as pastor. He has served as a first vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention; a trustee with Lifeway Christian Resources; and president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He is the author of ReClaimed Church: How Churches Grow, Decline, and Experience Revitalization (B&H, 2018) and Can These Bones Live: A Practical Guide to Church Revitalization (B&H, 2015).
Bill writes: "As I looked at how some church revitalization books and church growth prognosticators looked at the established church, many of them believed that most every church, if not all churches, will live, grow, and die. I wrote ReClaimed Church because I believe that, while churches do die, the church does not have to die. The reason is because Jesus is still the Lord over the church. We are His bride. Therefore, every church can be ReClaimed, regardless of where it finds itself within its life stage."
