Numerous hotels and other types of lodging are available in Westerville and the Northeast corner of Columbus. There is no official conference hotel - attendees may choose to stay overnight anywhere in the vicinity.

Dozens of fantastic restaurants populate the neighborhoods just north of Columbus. Whether you are looking for a favorite, trying something new, or getting truly adventurous, you'll have no lack of options at this year's event.

Be sure to take advantage of the intentional time planned on Monday night for fellowship and camaraderie. Numerous groups are already planning reunions and get-togethers. It's your opportunity to reconnect with old friends or invest in new relationships over a great meal.

Messengers are individual church members elected to represent their church in business matters at the SCBO Annual Meeting.

How to register as a Messenger (New online option for 2023):
The pastor, church clerk, or treasurer can register Messengers online here. Take advantage of this option to avoid the lines and hurry on event day. Or… you may still choose to bring a physical copy of the enclosed Messenger Card with you to the Annual Meeting. Each approved Messenger will receive a ballot and the Book of Reports on Tuesday, November 7.

The SCBO Resolutions Committee will be accepting resolutions for consideration until November 1.  Proposed resolutions may be submitted to the committee via email at

The SCBO Mission Council is happy to present the 2023-2024 proposed budget. While the overall budget remains unchanged, there are several exciting new initiatives and increases to many strategic ministries. Click the link for more details:
