The Power of Partnerships

One of the great joys of ministry is being able to partner with other churches and conventions in doing ministry together. This past summer, SCBO was able to financially partner with Fellowship Baptist Church (FBC) in Bilings, MT to assist FBC in conducting a mission outreach week in their local community. Mission teams and individuals came from Georgia, Alabama, and Zimbabwe to assist FBC in the areas of VBS, back yard bible clubs, a playground restoration, and several sports camps. After all was said and done, these various mission teams impacted the lives of 223 children that enrolled to participate in the weeks events. Of those 223, 61 professed a desire to start a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, PRAISE THE LORD! In addition, at least three lucky sports camp participants were able to win gift cards that enabled them to purchase replica jerseys of their favorite teams!

What a great picture of our Southern Baptist Cooperative Program monies at work. Giving, going, serving, sharing! FBC, it was our joy in OH to assist you in showing and sharing the love of Christ to your community! And we thank our brothers and sisters in GA, AL, and Zimbabwe for putting boots on the ground with you in MT. Praise God that the age old truth "we can accomplish more together than we can apart" still rings true!
