Food Service Returns
The team of six food service people returned home Sunday, 16 October. They worked with another thirty-nine from Kentucky at North Jacksonville Baptist Church. Although they were disappointed with how many meals were needed (not many meals needed), they certainly were not disappointed with how God rewarded their efforts. The two Kentucky chaplains who served as the official chaplains were able to talk with and encourage many as they traveled through various communities and spoke with folks all over Jacksonville. They were also blessed with leading two people to Christ. Although Ohio's chaplain was confined to the work site inspecting and lining Cambros, God had to send people to him and did He ever. Three more joined God's Kingdom. This was a tremendous, successful week. Praise God.
A chain saw team is gearing up to go to South Carolina on Monday, the 24th of October. Please be in prayer for this team and their safety.
