Revitalize Ohio: You Matter and God’s Not Finished With You

I want to take a moment to encourage you. Easter is around the corner, and you may see a few guests at your church. Perhaps you will have a full house. Or maybe you will have the regular 20 in your midst. Praise God no matter what. Remain faithful and keep your eyes on Jesus.
Were you aware that 79.1% of SBC congregations average less than 100 in attendance including children? A healthy pastor and a healthy church are focused on Jesus and his kingdom. This alone determines a successful church regardless of the numbers. In other words, a great church is a faithful church. Are you faithfully following Jesus?
Recently, I attended an AMS Replant Lab in Alpharetta, GA. I was encouraged by Mark Hallock as he shared five hope-giving truths for each and every one of us. My prayer is that these truths will encourage you.
Would you take a moment and pray these hope-giving truths back to God?
For the past three months, we have been training coaches to come alongside you. There are multiple tools to help you in renewing, replanting, or repurposing. Across the state we have practitioners to help you on your journey. In the coming weeks, your AMS and regional catalyst will have tools to assist and encourage you. You are not alone!
Will you pray with me for the congregations in your association, region, and state to partner together for a greater kingdom impact? Will you take a moment to encourage another pastor right now? Email, text, or call him. If I can be of any assistance to you or your congregation, please email me at mjones@scbo.org or check out www.scbo.org/revitalize.
Join me on May 16-17, in Bedford for Lead Well. The theme this year is “Endurance in Ministry.” Register now at https://www.scbo.org/event/lead-well-2025.

- The Lord is with you and for you.
- Jesus has a plan for every congregation, including yours.
- God is sovereign and He can be trusted.
- God loves to show His strength in our weakness.
- The Lord desires faithfulness, not bigness.
