Church Planting

We believe church planting is essential to Gospel Multiplication across Ohio. Church planting in Ohio is accomplished in partnership. The SCBO, along with Send Network Ohio, form a dynamic team to support new church starts all over the state.

Together, we seek to engage African American, Anglo, Hispanic, and other ethnic communities—whether through new church plants, existing churches joining the SCBO, or churches in their early years of growth. We also support and foster the work of African American, Hispanic, and SBC language churches throughout Ohio, encouraging every congregation to thrive in its context and mission.

Our Message
Christianity is declining in North America. To reverse this trend and join in God's work of expanding His kingdom, we embrace the Missionary Task:

Engage the city with the gospel. Make disciples. Plant a church.

As new churches dedicated to multiplication are born, disciples are equipped and sent out to bring gospel hope to more cities, multiply more disciples, and see Jesus grow His Church.
Our Values
Church planting isn't just a ministry for individual planters. It's a ministry for the whole Church — corporately and globally. At Send Network, we value:
  • Seek first the kingdom
God is at work locally and globally.
  • Deepen devotion
Without prayer and the Word, we are powerless.
  • Stick together
We are a family united by a mission.
  • Think multiplication
God’s global mission demands disciples and churches that multiply.
  • Engage your city
The gospel changes lives, families and communities.
