Celebrating the Cooperative Program Episode Four: "CP100 - Travis Smalley and Amer Safadi"

Throughout 2025, SCBO is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Cooperative Program with “CP100,” a series of interviews highlighting the impact of the Cooperative Program on churches and individuals in each of Ohio’s six regions.

This month, CP100 is visiting Ohio’s Southwest Region.

The nations are moving into the Cincinnati area, and Travis Smalley and Amer Safadi are on a mission to reach them with the gospel.

Smalley, pastor, Lakota Hills Baptist Church, and NAMB Send Cincinnati missionary, and Amer Safdi, lead pastor, Kingdom Family Arabic Church, and Arabic church planter, believe the Cooperative Program plays a vital role in fulfilling the mission. “We can do more together than we can apart. When we come together, we’re the largest missionary protestant force in history,” Smalley said.

Safadi agrees. “You can’t do it by yourself. Southern Baptists are a family. When you give, you don’t just give for church planting, you give for multiplication.”
