Prayer at the Statehouse

Prayer at the Statehouse is an opportunity for pastors and other Christians to gather for prayer and praise, as well as to connect with state lawmakers.

On Thursday, August 14, 10 am-11:30 am, Christians from all over Ohio will gather at the Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus, to pray. The 90-minute experience will include singing worship music in the heart of our Ohio government, a keynote message, and praying together with pastors and leaders. We'll be lifting up prayers for wisdom in our government, protection for families, revival in our churches, and courage for believers in public service—and we hope you can join us!

Sponsored by the Center for Christian Virtues, you will hear from leaders about the issues being debated at the Statehouse. As the state government’s work continues through the summer, so must our prayers and praise! In addition to inviting legislators and their staff, statewide officeholders and state agency directors are invited to join us. We're seizing the summer season to press in spiritually. Join us for Prayer at the Statehouse as we seek God’s continued favor over our state and our government.

As Ohio’s largest Christian public policy organization, the Center for Christian Virtue seeks the good of our neighbors by advocating for public policy that reflects the truth of the gospel.
