1/27/10 - Haiti
Our national assessment team has returned. Medical teams are being sent in from Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky & Mississippi.
| Urgent needs: - medical - food - water - shelter - chaplains | Long term needs: - all items on the previous list, plus... - water purification systems/ new wells - medical clinics - rebuilding teams |
Two major challenges before teams/ groups in large numbers go into Haiti:
1. Commercial flights need to begin again into Port-au-Prince.
2. Secure housing
Timeline as to when we will begin sending teams in mass?
Should have this clarified by the middle of February.
What can you and your church do now?

Even after Haitians use the supplies, the bucket can serve multiple uses for a family. The “Buckets of Hope”
